On Tuesday March 2nd I checked out a friend on Facebook - this is where I spend most of my time these days catching up on the Trials and Tribulations enveloping the United States of America! As I didnt know his last name I used his email address! I was shocked to see that his name wasnt Tony at all as I had been told when we met in an AOL chatroom one fateful day August 2004. We chatted, flirted and swapped some pertinent information about one another! About one week later we moved to the more private way of communicating via the Instant Message forum and the week of Labour Day September 2004 we met for lunch. It was a 45 minute drive for me and about 1hour 30 minutes for Tony! After lunch which he bought and I left the tip, we moved to my Honda Accord and began a lustful adventure which lasted 4 months! In 2005 we did not meet but we occassionally chatted via Instant message however the Wednesday after Easter 2006 we made a date to meet. But I became violently ill, I think I contracted Salmonella poisoning as for 3 days I hung over the Toilet seat and felt as though I was hit by a MackTruck; I ached all over! The morning of the date to meet I called Tony on the phone and explained - he never called me back or sent me an email to see how I was doing!
In August of 2009 I was using another screen name and I initiated a face to face typing a hello to Tony! We met again in November this time locally in my vicinity as his Daughter attends one of the local colleges! We met just for breakfast but it was nice catching up on things that have occurred with both of us. Tony looked the same but older and had a bit of a pouch [He resembles Richard Gere]; he also was wearing a wedding ring but told me it was his Father's who had died 2 yrs previous! You see Tony had told me he was divorced, lived in a small hamlet of Pennsylvania known as Hazelton and had 3 children - 2 boys, 1 girl. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and NotreDame football and he was 100% Italian ; his famous quote was: Life is short, play hard!
Well back to what I found on his Facebook page: It stated he was married and was to celebrate 29 yrs of wedded bliss on June 13th and didnt live in Hazelton but in Old Forge! I was livid and saddened because now we had committed adultery and in our faith of being Catholic that is a mortal sin. Had I known, I would never have met Andy [alias Tony] that day in September 2004! I thought about confronting him on his facebook page but decided against it - needless to say he's revised his page at 8:38pm on Thursday 3/4 and has promised to call me with an explanation!

If no one is married, it's not a sin?
How come I didn't get any like all the other teens, then?
They told me it was a sin, unless married; and then, once married, it was required!
So go from being a sin to being mandatory confused me and I think it had a lot to do with my whole life being screwed up.
Well, that and a couple dozen other things, like being in the seminary for three years.
I think you should kick what ever his name is between the legs.
It's a good thing I could never figure out how to chat or IM, I'm so gullible, I'd probably get pregnant.
Yeah, I know. I'm an old man, but just goes to show you......
GregoryJ: He was married but told me he was divorced. Being both of the catholic faith, we committed Adultery! Have I learn some may ask, YOU BETCHA!!!!
I stayed away from the word GULLIBLE except in relation to myself hoping you might pick up on it.
But since I'm finding you have a good sense of humor, I mention it now.
How could you be so gullible?
Are you even sure he was Catholic, the dirty rotten liar.
And something I still don't understand [don't throw the seminary in my face - it was only college] is it only a sin if one or both are married? not a sin if both are single?
and the real biggie: Why in heaven's name did God make sex so desirable and THEN tell us it's a sin, unless you say some words to each other?
OH ho. Maybe we're beginning to find out something about why I left the seminary......
thanks, Christina. I look forward to visiting you often.

GregoryG: Listening to a Priest on the EWTN channel last week who mentioned that mortal sin against our Lord is: when a single person covets a married person and/or if that married person covets someone other than his wife!!
I was so naive then & hopefully Ive learned not to be & yes, I guess you could say I was gullible!!!!
He told me he was Catholic but who knows, that could have been a lie too!!
A sense of humor is good always!
